My Final Message

As the only survivor of our expedition I feel compelled to record the events that have transpired here at Ästekkud¹. There needs to be a record of these events in case others wish to attempt what we did, lest they suffer the same fate. As I suspect I am not long for Boldolxah¹, I will begin by recording the names of my fallen dwarf-kin in honour of their great sacrifice, lest they be forgotten.

Besmar Kilrudlîlar, born in 321, was an ardent worshipper of Adil Coppersteels the Oily Canyon. She was a skilled Mason and Architect. Besmar was slain by the zombie emu known as Frightbalded in midspring of 399 at 78 years of age.

Domas Atîskikrost, born in 328, was a casual worshipper of Adil Coppersteels the Oily Canyon. She was a skilled stonecrafter and blacksmith. Domas was cut down by Frightbalded (the zombie emu) and bled to death in midspring of 399 at 71 years of age.

Likot Lokumerush, born in 341, was a worshipper of Äs. She was a skilled herbalist and weaponsmith. While battling the undead in Ästekkud, Likot slew a turkey gobbler. She was struck down by Frightbalded and died in midspring of 399 at 58 years of age.

Mosus Olindesis, born 319, was a casual worshipper of Äs. She was a skilled miner and armorsmith. Mosus was killed by Frightbalded in midspring of 399 at 80 years of age.

Dôbar Lorbamlikot, born in 339, was a worshipper of Äs. She was a skilled carpenter and leatherworker. While battling the undead in Ästekkud, Dôbar managed to take down the zombie emu Frightbalded, along with the zombie turkey hen Cleftshoots. Among her injuries was a cut from Cleftshoots that carried an infection. She succumbed to the infection in midspring of 399 at 60 years of age.

Domas Mörulluslem, born in 311, was a faithful worshipper of Sedur Fuchsiagranite. He was also a skilled tactician and hammerdwarf, and he served faithfully as Ästekkud’s militia commander. Domas managed to take down two zombie emus before he fought the zombie emu known as Squeezedwiped in an epic battle that claimed both their lives. He died in midspring of 399 at 88 years of age.

¹Ästekkud loosely translates to “Cavepick,” and is the name of the settlement establish by Enamrovod. Enamrovod, or “The Pure Arch,” is the government of Ästekkud. Enamrovod belongs to the dwarven civilization of Esmuldoren, “The Full Diamonds,” which is located south-west of the mountains known as The Skewered Spikes in The Strangled Land of Boldolxah, “The Cyclopean Dimension.”
