Ready…
This week is a “fast-free” week. This means that Lent is quickly approaching. As much as Lent is a very difficult time in general, I think I am looking forward to it this year. I always find it odd whenever I am looking forward to something that I know is difficult. But then, I always [...]

123 Meme
So, apparently I was “tagged” in a neat little bolg-game. A priest I know in Massachusetts who blogs quite regularly, and who’s blog I tend to frequent off and on, tagged me and now it’s my turn to post. The rules are:

Keeping Supper Warm
You know how sometimes you make dinner and your spouse isn’t home exactly when you think they are going to be so you keep the food in the pot to keep it warm? Apparently, with broccoli you’re supposed to drain the pot first. We had yummy broccoli ’soup’.

Auto-Cursing with Email
I recently got an email from my mother-in-law. In it, there was a list of amusing puns. However, do you know how some emails add “>” to each line of the previous email? If an email has been sent around many times you will get “>>>>>>>>” in front of the lines. [...]

Fair Well My Mentor
Today (well, yesterday by the time this gets published) is Dave’s last day with the company I work for. It is a sad day. He has mentored me and helped me to improve myself professionally. He has served as a sounding board and sage. He has taught me the ins and [...]

6 Degrees of Separation
I am writing this as I try to recover from a weekend on the mainland. No, I do not have a hangover, but I got so very little sleep this last weekend I am having trouble maintaining consciousness. This is why God made coffee!
The reason for our presence on the other side of [...]
