Posting Guidlines

I feel the need to mention that this site gets a lot of spam. Maybe not a lot when compared to other sites, but more then enough for me. To counter this I have installed some spam-catching software. As a result, if you post a comment it will be held for moderation or marked as spam. However, this software really is only guessing at what is spam and what isn’t, so if you post a comment and it doesn’t get displayed within a couple of days just click on the “Contact My Brain” link at the top of the page and let me know.

Thanks for understanding.

I am morally opposed to blogs.

That said I also have a tendency to be a little melodramatic. So let me try to explain myself, and why I would go about starting a blog when I am so opposed to them.

“The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?”
- Ecclesiastes 6:11

Meditate on this, and consider the source.

Now, given the above reasoning, why would I bother to start my own blog? Well, because it is a great way to keep in touch with people and to let others know what is happening in my life and what I am doing about it. What I want to avoid, however, is the telling of how others are doing or my feelings about other people in general. If I ever do this, please reprimand me.

“Let a good man strike or rebuke me, but let the oil of the wicked never anoint my head.”
- Psalm 141:5a

Along those lines, if you are posting here please also refrain from telling us about how others are doing or what you think about other people. Stick to the topics at hand and about yourself. And please avoid the Christian version of gossip that starts with “I have a prayer request for everyone…” when the issue has nothing to do with you. Thank you.
